Design Canada Documentary Recap

Big thanks to everyone who made it out to the Design Canada screening at the Garneau! The screening, presented in association with the GDC and hosted by director Greg Durrell with special guests from the film, was attended by over 200 people!

The documentary was a heartfelt narrative of Canada’s history told through the lens of graphic design. During the film, the stories and interviews prompted a reflection on the nation’s contributions to design, and perhaps most importantly, what it means to be Canadian.

After the screening, Greg hosted an incredibly insightful Q&A. He candidly expressed everything from the high to low moments in a delightful peek into a filmmaker’s journey.
