• Generates big ideas to determine the overall style or tone desired for each project
• Develops strong, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues

• Follows process to meet design requirements within pre-determined timeline and budget
• Develops marketing strategies by examining client objectives; planning, scheduling and production requirements for print, web and digital marketing messages and deliverables
• Creates integrated content across all marketing channels from compelling print materials to digital experiences
• Leads and facilitates client and internal team brainstorming sessions
• Maintains focus on client outcomes to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives
• Responsible for the overall quality and integrity of work produced by the creative team
• Reviews and approves content developed by the team; provides feedback and coaching as required
• Builds followership and cultivates a creative environment where people can thrive in their work
• Inspires creativity and works well with different personality types
• Is experienced in creating systems to manage multiple competing priorities
• Has experience balancing internal work demands with external client projects
• Fulfills projects from concept to completion; creative design, production and print ready files
• A strong communicator who can successfully present and promote client concepts, aligns campaign strategies and solutions to client needs to obtain approvals for deliverables
• Is well organized and keeps good client records and project documentation
• Works with our Studio Manager to develop detailed budgets and timelines
• Work with our Studio Manager to prioritize work and resources, establishing production schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters and production departments
• Keeps current with industry trends, analyzes trends to innovate creatively and with technology
• Collaborates with the Director in developing marketing plans, analyzing results and identifying opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in design, major in advertising or graphic design
• 8+ years as a professional graphic designer with 4+ years’ creative director experience in agency or corporate setting
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience with online, web-based, and/or web-site creative design
• Stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving and project-management skills
• Ability to produce consistently brilliant work while relying on others to make it happen
• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
• Ability to translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative multichannel campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences
• An expert not only on the creative process, but in selling ideas and concepts to customers
• Outstanding leadership and organization skills with the ability to maximize the talents of the team
• Ability to balance competing priorities and multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines
