The Graphic Design for Marketing Department in the Wilson School of Design at KPU is seeking NR2 faculty to fill two 50% positions. The successful candidates will be required to teach courses across the curriculum, with a demonstrated investment in the nexus of communication design, marketing, business and social contexts for design. They will demonstrate expertise in developing marketing strategies (situation assessment, segmenting and targeting audiences, defining channels, and brand positioning), and applying industry-relevant design and technological processes. As the curricular framework of the Graphic Design for Marketing program is highly integrated, we are looking for team players committed to maintaining an environment of open collaboration.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline (Master's preferred); alternative education backgrounds will be considered along with strong industry experience in the field of graphic design.
• Candidates must have at least ten (10) years of active professional communication design practice that includes marketing, business, and/or other relevant domains.
• A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred.
