Our ‘corporate reputation team’ is looking for an accomplished graphic designer to help us build and take brand strategies from ideas into head turning creative concepts. We need an innovative, creative designer with excellent consulting and project management skills who can work with a team of bright communicators to create and implement remarkable communications.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communication some of the key responsibilities for this role are:

• Lead in-house design projects from end to end and design graphics for a variety of audiences and platforms
• Design and development of collateral materials, with a focus on integration with social, digital and video solutions
• Write creative briefs, visual communications plans and story boards as needed
• Provide internal counsel on brand management and support YYC crew in developing strategies and tactics
• Act as the subject matter and technical expert on creative direction and evolution of visual brand standards
• Ensure all artwork conforms to design specifications and meets or exceeds communications goals
• Plan, prioritize and track execution of multiple projects to meet aggressive timelines

• You bring a portfolio filled with exceptional creative content aligned with business objectives

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design preferred,
• Formal education in either marketing, communications or public relations
• 5+ years of professional design and/or brand design experience
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Solid understanding of the creative development process, colour management, typography and print production
• Proficiency in photography, video production, and digital asset management
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
