Pyrrha Jewelry Design is looking for a full time in-house Senior Graphic Designer who will work with and report directly to the designers. We design and manufacture a world-renowned jewelry line with a focus on quality workmanship and sustainability (we are a certified B Corporation). We have a strong brand and are well known as an industry leader in North America. We are looking for someone who will work within our brand but can still present fresh ideas. You have excellent communication skills and can move easily between independent work and working within a team. You are flexible and take direction well, but are self-motivated and internally driven to succeed. You thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and paying constant attention to detail is second nature.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma in Graphic Design or relevant experience;
Minimum 4 years of related experience;
Strong knowledge of typography and layout
Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) and other industry standard tools
Experience in prepress and digital output
Working knowledge of responsive web design including HTML/CSS
Email marketing: Strategy and MailChimp
Demonstrated understanding of branding, layout, colour theory and typography in digital media
Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes
Extraordinary attention to detail and high level of organizational skills and time management skills
Comfortable learning new computer applications
Web Content Management

Ecommerce experience
Shopify (CMS experience also acceptable)
Packaging design
Social media strategy
Art direction for photography

Duties include:

Leading design from conception to implementation
Manage project calendar for Graphics department: delegate and assign tasks, manage intake and completion of creative briefs
Design and layout of seasonal marketing materials such as catalogues, posters, look books, press releases and various other documents and sales tools
Design and layout a wide array of print and web projects
Design and execute email newsletters
Update and maintain website
Coordinate with outside suppliers (photographers, printers, programmers)
Ability to develop creative solutions to problems at times working collaboratively with other departments
Communicate with leads and/or program managers to anticipate, resolve, and prevent errors in design and workflow
